OpenLoops helps you keep track of important points in AI conversations—without creating another account, profile, or cloud data trail.
OpenLoops does not ask you to sign in or create a profile.
Your plans, notes, and preferences are stored in your browser.
No analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioural profiles.
This Privacy Policy explains how OpenLoops, a browser extension provided by Neryan (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use it on supported AI conversation websites.
OpenLoops has no server or user account system. The extension processes page content on your device and saves only the plans and settings you choose to keep in your browser’s local extension storage.
To work, OpenLoops interacts with supported AI conversation pages in your browser. Depending on what you do, it may handle:
Version 1.0 does not track or save files attached to AI conversations. OpenLoops does not intentionally collect passwords, payment details, or authentication credentials.
OpenLoops processes information to create and manage plans, keep your place across conversation points, generate continuation prompts, insert text into a supported chat composer, export your content, and restore backups you select.
We do not use your OpenLoops content for advertising, user profiling, model training, or selling data. The extension does not include paid AI APIs; any AI analysis occurs in the AI service you are already using and remains subject to that service’s terms and privacy policy.
OpenLoops stores its data in chrome.storage.local, the browser-managed storage area assigned to the extension. Despite the name, this storage mechanism is used by both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
Your content remains there until you delete a plan, clear the extension’s data, remove the extension, or your browser removes it. You can export plans as Markdown or download a JSON backup before deleting data.
If browser sync, device backup, security software, or enterprise management is enabled on your device, those systems may independently handle browser data. Their practices are outside OpenLoops’ control.
OpenLoops does not use these permissions to monitor unrelated websites or browsing activity.
You can review and edit saved content, export individual plans as Markdown, back up or restore extension data as JSON, archive plans, delete plans, and uninstall OpenLoops at any time. Deleting or uninstalling is the direct way to remove locally stored OpenLoops data.
If you contact us about privacy, please do not send sensitive conversation content unless it is necessary for us to understand your request.
OpenLoops reduces data exposure by keeping its working data on your device and avoiding an external account or storage service. No browser extension or local storage system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your browser and extension up to date and protect access to your device.
We may update this policy as OpenLoops changes or legal requirements evolve. We will revise the effective date above when we make changes. Material changes will be communicated through the extension, its store listing, or this page where appropriate.
